Tab Bar Motion UI
Tab bars are often overlooked—but in this exploration, I turned it into a design focal point. This motion experiment dives deep into the invisible choreography of tab interactions. Every frame was an attempt to elevate switching between app sections from something passive… into something playful.
Through seamless transitions, animated feedback, and microinteractions, this concept reveals how subtle motion can enhance navigation flow, delight users, and elevate the overall experience—without sacrificing usability.
Task
I explored motion-led interaction patterns for mobile tab bars—designing transitions, entry/exit states, and response feedback. The goal was to give utility a touch of elegance, testing animation’s role in reinforcing clarity and user intention.
